The new CompTIA Linux+ is for the IT pro who will use Linux to manage everything from cars and smartphones to servers and supercomputers, as a vast number of enterprises use Linux in cloud, cybersecurity, mobile and web administration applications.
This course will prepare students for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam. It provides a comprehensive look at common tasks performed by system administrators. This includes installation, management of Linux systems from the command line and the GUI, user administration, file permissions, customization, software configuration, management of Linux-based clients, troubleshooting, and much more. Expanded coverage of networking and security are covered, which is in step with the CompTIA exam objectives.
CompTIA Linux+ covers common tasks in major distributions of Linux, including the Linux command line, basic maintenance, installing and configuring workstations, and networking.
This course also includes the Linux+ practice labs. The CompTIA Linux+ Practice Lab will provide you with the necessary platform to gain hands on skills in Linux operating systems. By completing the lab tasks you will improve your practical skills in configuring, monitoring and supporting servers running the Linux OS, applying/acquiring the appropriate permissions and ownership, summarizing best practices, analyze and troubleshoot issues within Linux and deploying and executing scripts. These same tasks will help you understand the objectives and competencies required by the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.

ompTIA Linux+ validates the skills of IT professionals with hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and supporting servers running the Linux operating system. The new exam has an increased focus on the following topics: security, kernel modules, storage & visualization, device management at an enterprise level, git & automation, networking & firewalls, server side & command line, server (vs. client-based) coverage, troubleshooting and SELinux.

720 (on a scale of 100 to 900)
